Loren Forney, PGA, Director of Golf Operations

Loren was born and raised in Colorado and graduated with a degree in Psychology from Colorado Mesa University in 2015. 
She began playing golf at 5 years old and received a full ride scholorship to play Division 1 golf at Portland State University in Oregon.

Loren is a US Kids Certified Golf Coach and enjoys introducing the game of golf to adults and juniors. She has been in the golf industry for more than 15 years and has taught professionally for 8 years. For 2 years she was an Assistant  for putting guru and Flatstick Academy Founder David Orr, who trains professional golfers such as Justin Rose, Suzann Petterson and Cheyenne Woods. Her lessons emphasize foundation, practicing with a purpose, short game creativity, mental strategy, and course management.

Todd Leonard, Head Golf Professional

Todd was born and raised in Austin and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from St Edward's University in 1995. 
Todd was a 4 yr starter at 3rd base for the Hilltoppers but finds his passion these days in the golf industry.

He brings 25+ years of exceptional customer service and the love of the game to Avery's clients. His degree allows his to understand the mechanics of a swing as well as proper training and exercise. Todd loves working with competitive athletes as well as beginners and hopes to build the game for years to come.

Charlie Crenshaw, Assistant Professional
Charlie was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He gew up playing baseball, football and golf. He is a golf instructor, entrepreneur and has done stunt work in several films. Charlie is the nephew of former PGA Tour player and World Golf Hall of Famer, Ben Crenshaw, and son of former Longhorn baseball player, Charlie Crenshaw V. He has been in the golf business for 14 years, and has 12 years of teaching experience. He specializes in teaching junior golfers, and has worked with several juniors that went on to play NCAA golf and various professional tours. He is full-time at Avery Ranch Golf Club, and is excited to be here for a long time! 

Chase Gattis, Assistant Professional
Chase started his passion for the game of golf in Dallas at the age of five.  He excelled at many other sports but always came back to golf.  Through the years, Chase has developed a strong ability to communicate & teach the importance of the basics.
He believes that a strong foundation and the development of core fundamentals are the secret to playing better golf.
He is an exceptional junior golf instructor and many of his young students wish they could spend more time with him on the practice tee.
